Mr.A, this is Molly Murphy. I think that you should count in twos, fives and so on like -5,-10 or -2,-4,-6. But you make sure the negative integers are on the left and the positive numbers on the right.
Mr.A, this is althea, i think the larger numbers (positives) should go on the right of the number line and the smaller numbers (negatives) should go on the left.
Mr.A, if the numbers are too big, then you put the numbers on the right side of the 0 and if there too small, then you put the numbers on the left side of the 0 and that makes it a negative.
mr.a if the numbers are to big or to small you have to put small numbers to the left side and then the bigger numbers to the right becaause the because then you can add or subtract on either side:D
Hi MR.A this is Jaewon Yoo. You just have to put the positives on the right side of the zero and the negatives on the left side of the zero. You can shorten it as well like into 5's or 10's
Hi Mr.A, this is Becky Phan. I think that you should put the negative numbers (which are the small #'s) to the left side of the zero. And the positive numbers( which are the big #'s) to the right side of the zero!
you put the ones with a little dash in the left side and the one without the dashes on the right and the you add or subtract in the number line and this is marco.b
This is Caleb, To use integers on a number line put the negative numbers (numbers below zero, have a dash to represent that) on the left of the zero and the positive numbers (numbers above zero) above the zero or to the right. If the numbers get to big then you can "Skip Count" or put the zero to the left or right more depending on the highest number of you equation or number sentence. I also agree with footballboy.
negatives--------------0--------------positives. So you just move the lower numbers to the left (negatives) and the bigger numbers on the right (positives). Also this is Michael.
Hello Mr. A,this is Michael. To solve that problem you would have to put the negative numbers on the left of the zero and the positive on the right of the zero.
Many thanks indeed to everyone who has made at least 2 comments. You have earned full credit for this assignment. I'd like to see more conversation - collaboration or controvesy - taking place in future blogs. For example, its not enough to simply say " I agree with bla, bla, bla,..." without stating why or posting additional thought of your own to support your agreement or disagreement. Its a good start... way to go guys!
Mr. A, it Emily R blogger wont let me use my school account. And the negative # go to the left of the 0 on the number line and the positive #'s go towards the right of the 0.
Mr.A I agree with Ripkowski that the negative #'s are located in the left of 0 and the positive #'s are in the right of 0 in the # line. From KARLA GUTIERREZ!!!
well you could the negative to the left of the zero and put the postives to the right. realy it depends on what kind of #'s your talking about, like negative or postive
This is for a 7th-grade math class.
