It helps you understand an equation better, because in a mathmatical sentence, it only shows you the answer, but pictures show you the answer and how you got it.
i agree with Emily because it is true that picture equations are a lot easier to understand, that is why kinder gardeners use this method, because it is easier for them!

One thing cool about pic equations is that if you find the zero pair than the problem would be easy to solve.But one thing not cool is that if there is no zero pair than it would be hard to solve this is Omar Zaied by the way
Hello, its Patrick Lewis. I just want to say that picture equations are confusing. However, I think that if you need to solve a picture equation, you can just convert the picture euation into a regular algebraic equation.
I like using picture equations because when using negatives its easier to cross out the pictures than to think it through your head. Also when you use picture equations its easier to keep track of what you're doing because when you just look at an algebraic equation it can confuse you
I agree with what Elena says about being able to interact with and the visual thing but i also agree with patrick about them getting confusing at times but it all depends on the person and the problem
I think that picture equations are cool because some people are visual learners (like me ) but some are not. Picture equations are just another way of learning.
