I have used Google docs to create a file that could enable my students fill out and sign-up for camp-allen ,from their homes so that parents are actively involved in the sign-up process.
I also found the Brain Pop site which I had heard of, but had never investigated. It was very engaging and interesting. Here is that site: http://www.brainpop.com/
The Google Docs site was easier for me to navigate, so that is the one I decided to join. When I first began reading about social bookmarking, it sounded great because of using various computers. I will use more of this tool in connecting with students to elicit greater family involvement.
